Who We Are

President Executive Club (PEC) was founded by SD Darmono in June 2004 as a club for the meeting of minds and networking for President and Executives of 700 corporates in Cikarang Industrial Estate - Jababeka.

The groundbreaking for the PEC building in Cikarang CBD was by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (Indonesian presidential candidate for 2004 election), Edward Lee (the Ambassador of Singapore) and Setyono Djuandi Darmono, attended by distinguished businessmen and top executives.

In 2009, PEC was transformed to a national club with 11 founders, inaugurated by the Vice President at Ritz Carlton Jakarta.

Dr. (HC) SD Darmono

Dr. (HC) Setyono Djuandi Darmono is the founder and chairman of Jababeka Group, the only private company trusted by the Indonesian government to develop and manage 3 Special Economic Zones in Indonesia: Kendal, Tanjung Lesung and Morotai. In 1989, he successfully led the 21 top ranking consortium businessmen’s in Indonesia to build Kota Jababeka, the largest world class Industrial city in Indonesia.

He also founded a few company and social organization, including President University, the first English speaking International University and the only one in Indonesia established in 2001.

Currently, he serves as the advisory board for Indonesia Australia Business Council (IABC), Head of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Indonesia Chapter, Founder and Chairman of PT Pembangunan Kota Tua Jakarta (Jakarta Old Town Revitalization Corporation/JOTRC), Chairman of KADIN Indonesia-Taiwan Committee and Head Advisory Board for Indonesia-Taiwan Business Council (ITBC).

At June 2018, he received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from University of Glasgow, England, and became the only Indonesian national from 10 individual to receive that title at the time. He also has written several books, such as “Think Big, Start Small, Move Fast”, “Building a Ship While Sailing”, and “BringingCivilization Together”.

Joseph Wong

A Hong Kong Citizen, Joseph Wong is a professional with 40 years international business experience. He has been working and resided in Hong Kong, USA, Japan, China and now Indonesia, and he obtained his MBA and BSc degree (Production & Industrial Engineering) at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been working for major US companies like Amoco Oil, BP Solar, GSC (PE) as their Managing Director for Asia Pacific region. He has extensive experience in infrastructure, energy, real estate, investment, hospitality and leisure.

Ferry Adamhar

Born at 1959 in Jakarta, Ferry Adamhar is a former Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Greece with long experience working International bodies such as United Nations, World Health Assembly, United Nations World Conference for Human Rights and International Telecommunication Union.

Working under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, he has served as Head of Subsection on International Treaties (1989), Delegate staff at the Indonesian Permanent Mission to United Nations in Geneva (1990-1993), Head of sub-section for International Treaties of the Indonesian Permanent Mission to the UN in New York and also as Indonesian Delegate to the Sixth Committee of the UNGA (1999-2003), Director for Protection of Indonesian Citizens and Legal Entities (2004-2007), Consul General for Consulate General of Indonesia for Hong Kong (2007-2010), Ambassador of Indonesia to the State of Kuwait (2010-2014), Ambassador of Indonesia to the Hellenic Republic (2017-2021).

He received his Bachelor Degree of Law from Andalas University in 1984, and Master of Law Degree from the University of California Berkeley in 1995.
